Brazosport Yacht Club is located in Surfside, Texas, and is very active with offshore racing and social activities. We have a growing fleet of both sailing and power boats. The club is looking to add dinghy racing to interested sailors. The social activities include dinner cruises and overniters to Offats Bayou, Port O'Conner, Harbor Walk, Harbor House and Matagorda.
Fleet sailing members actively participate in regattas including Harvest Moon and Race to the Border. We have an active club race schedule with day races and overnite races in the Gulf. These races are exciting with the Commodore Cup and Almond Cup being the featured overnite races.
Powerboaters and sailors alike enjoy the social activities. There are dock parties, keg parties, catered dinners and overniters to local marinas and anchorages.
There is a sharing of bluewater experience and for "do it yourselfers", there is always a lending hand.
